Who Is This Kid... And What Is He Doing Talking CRE?
Let's start this off right. My name is David Corbin. I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I moved from New York to South Florida in 2000. Go phins.
Currently, I am a senior at the University of Florida earning my B.S. in Telecommunications and my M.S. in Real Estate. I'm extremely active on my campus serving as Chairman of Action SG (Student Government) where I handle all of the marketing, promotion, and advertising for all of our Student Government (which is one of the largest in the nation). I'm also Vice President of my fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) where I run all of our philanthropy, community service and alumni relations. Now, to the nitty gritty of what I'll be using this blog for. After graduation in May of 2015, I hope to work for a commercial brokerage either doing tenant representation or investment sales. Most of my experience lines up almost perfectly with what I'm looking to accomplish in my life and I'm very excited to get started! My experience and education in technology allows me to give an entire new perspective on the connection between these two industries. I know that by sharing my thoughts and interesting thoughts of others on this blog will not only help other real estate professionals gain this new perspective on technology but also allow for me further my education on the crossover between CRE and Tech (social media, tv, online applications, etc...).
